Allie & C.J. holding the trophy that coach had to go & find, because the trophy the team was holding was actually the 8th grade trophy. I have to say, this year was awesome watching these girls play basketball. Wow. I can't wait till next season.
We went into the tournament ranked #3, going to play #2 we were down by like 18 points & we end up coming back & the game is almost over & C.J gets fouled, she shoots two makes them to tie the game & send it into over time--- than her good friend Rachel Price ends up shooting the winning basket in overtime to win the game & send us to the ship. We win that game 39 to 37.
So the Championship is against Bogle Jr. the "defending champs", at the half the score is 9 to 5. Yes we have our selves a barn burner. Unfortunately we have 5 points :( But, we ended up winning 17 to 14. It was pretty dang awesome.
