Braces OFF!!!!!

How beautiful is she? I thought I was EXCITED to get my braces off. But Ceejay was pretty excited. I asked her what the first thing she wanted to eat was? Jack in the Box- curly fries. O.k.
Well, tonight I want SUSHI. She said that she wants to see what it is like not to have the rice get stuck in her braces.
O.k. you will have to talk to your dad about that one.

Double Dating.....

The girls went on their first "double date" today. Just kidding. Well, they took the Germaine boys to see a movie. It was really cute, the boys came & picked them up & Natalie & I dropped everyone off at the theater. They went & saw the movie called "Dolphin Tale." After the movie they went to Rubio's for lunch. The girls said they had a good time.
Ceejay & Jackson Germaine--
Awe look how cute Kenzie's date is. We just love these two boys. They are so cute!!! Crew is such a handsome boy & he is always asking me "where is matenzie."
We are lucky to have the Germaine's as neighbors & I can't wait till baby boy #3 is born. He will be here the end of December. I will probably have to be down there every day to hold the baby so she can take care of her other duties-- ha ha.

Friends, Birthdays & treats.

Me, Natalie Germaine & LeeAnn Basha-- celebrating my bday (I know it was earlier this month) at Rumbi's. The problem with my birthday and Chandler schools -- we celebrate fall break for 2 weeks, which is good & bad-- basically no one can go to lunch because they all have to get sitters-- now if you have older kids- than it's good cuz you just go- and leave the older kid's in charge-- but Natalie & Ana couldn't do that. So, that is why we went to lunch this last week after the kid's went back to school. I don't mind-- of course, I would love to have an excuse to see these gals every day of the week.
Stacey Wheeler, Sarahanne Lawson & Anna Varney
These were our desserts from A.J.'s that Ms. LeeAnn treated us all to. Thanks Lee-- Luv your gutts!!! (her fav saying) They were so yummy, it was such a good idea to go there and for us to each pick something and we all shared. yum yum yum!!!

I am so lucky to have the circle of friends that I have-- for so MANY different reasons!!!! We had such a great time getting caught up this day. It has been a while since we have been together & I know that especially for Lee it was good for us to get together. We miss having her around & I know that since her sister passed last month it has been so hard for her & I want her to know how much I truly LOVE her and am grateful to her for her friendship. Especially for her example- what a true disciple of Christ she is, her son Dalton is serving in Poland and her family is a KEY reason our son Val is serving a mission right now. Dalton was a great friend to Val & I am so happy that they became such good friends. He spent a lot of time over at their home before he decided to go & I know that her boys that are return missionaries and Dalton preparing to go helped Val jump start his decision to get ready to go & I am ETERNALLY grateful for their family.

Thanks Natalie (other wheeler) for putting the day together!

Tiny Jimmer...

Cool picture, can you guess who took it? O.k. so we are coming up on Basketball season & we are so excited!!!! We are trying to keep Ceejay in tip top shape--- of course- she has to stop playing with knives and sharp objects. Last week she came running up the stairs and was crying, she had cut her middle finger on her right hand pretty bad. What was she doing? Well, she was trying to cut a pen open with a knife & it closed on her finger & sliced it pretty bad. I had Natalie come down & look at it, she put a butterfly bandage on it, we all collectively decided that she didn't need stitches. The bleeding stopped within 15 min & ANYONE that knows my daughter knows she LOVES scars, so we weren't worried about it scarring.

Look ma, I can palm it.
So picture the other hand with a ball in it as well. That is what ceejay wants to do for her senior pictures. How cool is that? Of course that is a long way off.
Pictures were taken at Grandma & Grandpa's in Colorado. She was showing her Grandpa that she could palm the basketball without it being flat. yay!!!

Look out Tony Hawk-

I love that ceejay can just "find" things to keep her busy, she loves the outdoors. I asked Kenz to go out and take some shots of her- of course the pictures are pretty cool- nothing short of amazing for Kenz-- she just can't take some "simple" shots-- I LOVE the last one- so ARTSY lookin' I could totally see that blown up on a wall.

This is actually a long board- not a normal skateboard-
My favorite picture of all! I really love how Mac can get these shots- she just get's it.

Time to Party Mom!!!

My FAVORITE sister. (my only :) I do love my sister Jolene- she does carry a big burden, not only taking care of her family-- she is taking care of my parents. She is the best. I don't know what any of us kid's would do without Jolene or James-- they both do a lot for our parents.
Rivers--- look how stinkin' cute he is!!!
Here is the birthday girl!!!
Here is Val, a really close up of Val. Kenzie was in charge of the "pics". Cute huh?
Here is mom's book I made for people to sign. It had a lot of old photo's of her growing up. It was fun to see her when she was little, because Ava (rachel's baby) & Rachel, C.J. & I look a lot like my mother.
What a beautiful daughter Kenzie is, and look I am taller than she is. LOL. Really I have heels on and she has flats. She passed me up I think about 4 years ago, the only way I can be taller than her is to wear heels. Grandma & Grandpa asked Kenz to take pictures of the party, so she kept pretty busy- snapping photo's all night. I don't think she minded though because she got to use her Grandpa's real expensive camera-- she has been dropping hints ever since- that she NEEDS a new camera.I like the photo of my baby girl and I. She is at that age, where she doesn't mind getting her picture taken- I have to take advantage of that.
This is my niece Nicole- notice Carinna walking by the camera. There was another photo of Nicki & I taken, but I wanted to put this one on my blog because I actually think the look on C.J's face is kind of funny. There is Baby Ava-- who I forgot to tell everyone a few weeks ago- was modeling one of my onesie's in Norwood, CO and she was spotted by KATIE HOLMES & TOM CRUISE and katie asked my niece Rachel--- "where did you get that outfit.?" my niece replied-- "my aunt makes them." So Katie asked, "is she local?" no, Rachel said, she lives in Phoenix.
Bummer, she didn't have her cell phone with my phone number to give her-- huh????
Look how sweet my two great nephew's are patiently waiting for cake-- (yes- I am old & am a Great Aunt) River's is on the left & Jimmy is on the right.
Carinna absolutely adore's her grandma. I wish that I had the relationship with my grandma at her age-- that she does with my mom. I am very jealous. I think she tells my mom more than she tells me. boo hoo
I love this picture of my parents!!!! look how happy they are!!!Here is the gang! Jolene's family, my family, part of Russ's family & James & Grayson--- Mom & Dad. I wish Dallas & Shelby could have been here & of course the rest of the Hoffman family--
It was fun celebrating mom's 75th birthday!
She had some amazing things said about her & written in her book.
We all love you Eleanor Mae Hoffman!!

Ride em' Cow Girl???

The clubhouse where we had my mom's party had this statue of this bear out front. It was actually in this area where kid's or teenager's or anyone for that matter- shouldn't really be climbing up into-- however-anyone that know's this child of mine- knows that she see's something like this & is like A BIG BEAR---- OOOOOH I WANT TO RIDE!!!!!!!!So--- Here it is-- our little Cow- Girl-- GIDDY UP!!!

Do you think my tractor's SeXy?

O.k. so I know this is kind of corny-- o.k. not KiNd of corny--- suPer corny!!! But, there is a junkyard by my parents where this tractor is parked with this sign on it. So we of course had to stop & had to take a photo with it. Kenz was taking the picture & I offered to take her picture with it but she "Opted" out-- haha.

Road trip to Colorado

This is our windshield going thru Heber AZ-- those are not raindrops-- they are snowflakes.
Nice huh. What a nice surprise for the people up north to get some snow in the beginning of October. We are headed up to Colorado to see my parents & to celebrate my Mother's 75th birthday which was Oct 4th.
This is a rare photo op for the girls because Nixon will only get in the back seat if I am in the back seat. But Kenz coaxed him back there with her soft blanket. He didn't stay back there very long.
This is through New Mexico- even though it is the "flat" part of the drive- it sure is beautiful with the rocks just out in the middle of nowhere.
Here we go into Colorado -- I think the first town we came into that we got snowed on was either Delores or Rico. But, we were snowed on for a good while. So I got some amazing photos. (well not really-- but I love the snow-- from the inside of the truck--LOL)

How beautiful are these tree's lightly dusted with snow?

This little town was so cute, with the lake & the snow on the ground. I love it--- but not enough to move here---- Sorry JOLENE.

Happy Birthday to me- 29 again!

Here are the girls & I at the nail place- treating ourselves to a little "birthday" pedicure. Wait-- it's just MY birthday? What the? HA HA-- I wanted to spend the day with my girls today- Val told me I needed a pedicure-- so I thought it would be fun to go together- so I treated them to a pedicure. It was fun!! A good start to a great day!
My sweet honey-- always spoils me on my birthday! He met the girls & I earlier at Dana Park to give me part of my gift which was a gift card to Anthropologie, which is one of my favorite stores. So the girls & I went there to do a little shopping before we headed back to the house to get ready for dinner at Cheesecake Factory. YUMMY

A little family photo op! I love my sweet family!!
Banana Creme cheesecake--- yummy! This cheesecake was so good. I was going to order chocolate cake-- so glad I didn't --my sweet honey- suggested this & I took his suggestion & it was awesome!!
I guess if you HAVE to celebrate your birthday- you might as well do it right. I had a great day with my family-- We are on our way to Colorado in the morning to go celebrate my mom's 75th birthday which actually happened on Tuesday the 4th.
